The challenge

Within your hospital, three head nurses have applied to grow into the role of care manager. Each of them is an experienced professional, but a leadership role requires additional competencies: coaching leadership, organisational capacity and the ability to handle pressure in a complex healthcare environment.

Our approach

In line with the hospital’s competency framework, we organise an interactive assessment in a recognisable hospital setting. Through a case study, in-basket exercise and role play (for example a difficult conversation with a doctor or team member), we observe their leadership style and decision-making.

 

We also conduct a personality and leadership assessment. The result is a comparative report with a clear strengths-and-development analysis, combined with concrete development advice.
