Master’s Internship in Business Psychology and Human Resource Management

What this role
means for you

At ORPSY you work in a close-knit team of specialists where your talent, knowledge and commitment truly matter. Every day you get the opportunity to help organisations and people move forward while continuing to develop yourself.

You don’t have to leave the ‘wisest’ city of Flanders, as our workplace is located at Bijlokehof. Easily accessible by car, bike and public transport!

For more than 40 years we have been advising and supporting both SMEs and international companies in the field of Human Resources across a wide range of sectors. The Orpsy assessment and development center helps clients analyse, develop and maximise the potential of their employees. In addition, we also offer added value in the field of career development. Professional ethics, scientific foundations and client-specific customisation form the core of our services.

  • Gain insight into various assessment methodologies: psychotechnical tests, interpretation, role plays…
  • Attend interviews, role plays and presentations within assessment centers, after which you will gradually take on a more active role
  • Learn and apply conversation and interview techniques
  • Use scientifically validated testing methods
  • Develop new test batteries: in-basket exercises, role plays…
  • Social media support (if interested)
  • Competency-based reporting in both Dutch and English
  • Example research project: how applicants experience the assessment process, how to improve the quality of the assessment process… (depending on your interests)

As a junior consultant, the student becomes a full member of our team. The internship supervisors have a theoretical background in psychology and social sciences, but can especially provide meaningful guidance thanks to their practical experience from many years of working in the sector.

We consider it essential that, alongside supportive operational tasks, students can also work concretely on one or two substantive projects. These projects can be adapted according to the student’s interests. For us, it is also crucial to guide individuals who can work independently, have a constructive critical mindset, are flexible and think proactively.
