Orpsy is an executive search & assessment firm headquartered in Ghent. We have been active in our field for more than 35 years and work for clients across Belgium. Every year we give interns the opportunity to gain experience within their field of study, naturally with a strong connection to our own sector and activities.

The internship position is located in Ghent – near Sint-Pieters Station – easily accessible on foot and by public transport. It is up to the intern to determine which domains he or she would like to explore further. Below is an overview of several possible areas that can be covered during the internship:
Domain 1: Organisational strategy
- Competitor analysis: how similar firms operate and where we as a company can create added value
- Market research: identifying growth potential for Orpsy
Domain 2: Assessment & Development Centers
- Developing new role plays, in-basket exercises, etc.
- Analysing the perception of assessment centers and generating actions to further optimise them
Domain 3: Image management
- How Orpsy should position itself as an executive search & assessment firm in the market and develop a distinctive brand image
- Helping shape our social media strategy
Domain 4: Employee well-being
- Designing a programme to detect stress and burnout and developing related preventive actions
In addition to project-based assignments, it is essential for us to provide students with broad learning opportunities and insights. Within our firm there are several domains in which students can specialise. It is up to the student to indicate where their interests lie.
We consider it essential that, besides operational support tasks, students can also work concretely on one or two substantive projects. These projects can be adapted according to the student’s interests. At the same time, we aim to guide individuals who can work independently, have a constructive critical mindset, are flexible and think proactively.
